On the night of 15.05.2018, Mizoram Police Special Narcotics Squad under SP Crime and Central YMA SRS seized 13 kgs of Gold Bars at Zemabawk. In this connection Lalbiakthuama (24) rider of Bike MZ-04/6577 was arrested for alleged possession of the gold bars, reportedly smuggled from Myanmar. The Gold Bars seized are worth over Rs.3.8 crore.
