GREENING the Mother Earth is everyone’s duty. In our ongoing mission of beautification of our premises and contributing to improvement in climate, reduce global warming & restore environment by planting trees, 1st IR Bn. (Northern Rangers) planted 4000 trees under the project ‘Afforestation & Clean Mualvum project’ on 7.6.2022. It was formally inaugurated today by Pu K. Laldawngliana, MLA, Tuirial in the presence of officials from Kolasib Forest Division.
Thousands of trees are being planted in the open spaces of Bn hqrs complex systematically with assistance from Mizoram Forest Deptt. Provisions of post plantation care are also put in place to ensure maximum survival rate.
