On specific input from residents of Bawngkawn locality, Bawngkawn PS (Aizawl District) team last night apprehended one Thangngaihpianga (22) s/o Lamkhankhup of Churachanpur, Manipur, Present Address- Bungbangla and recovered from his possesion 46 nos of Mobile Handsets of assorted types (valued ₹.9,68,470/- ) and cash amount of ₹ 2,36,590/- which he stole from RC Mobiworld Store located at Bawngkawn.
His involvements in previous such mobile store heists have also been strongly suspected. Further investigation/ interrogation is in progress.
