On the night of 13.11.2022, #ChamphaiPS team led by OC Inspr H.Vanlalthanga, while conducting random checking at Kanan veng, Champhai seized 200 soap cases (2.907 Kgs) of heroin, valued over ₹ 14.5 Crores in international market, from the illegal possession of Laldinpuia (18+yrs) s/o Funghleikhama ( L) of Champhai Dinthar (driver of Maxi Cab – MZ-04/9754). Champhai PS case u/s 21(c)/25 ND&PS Act has been registered for further investigation on forward/ backward linkages.
