On 13.7.2022, Champhai Police Traffic Cell while conducting mobile duty within Champhai town recovered and seized 271 grams heroin, valued approx. ₹135 lakhs in international market from the illegal possesion of two persons – Lalbeiseia (75) s/o Darzinga (L) of Vengsang Champhai and Lalnuntluanga (38) s/o Lalbeiseia of Vengsang Champhai.Further investigation is in progress.
