Acting on a specific input, early morning of 4.5.2023, #MizoramPolice CID (SB) Ops Team intercepted one vehicle (Bolero) at the outskirt of Thenzawl, recovered and seized 2 nos of .32 caliber rifle with 4 Magazines, 2 nos of .22 caliber rifle with 2 Magazines and 20 nos of .22 ammunition from the illegal possession of Albert Hlawncheu (54) s/o Kiplei of Bungtlang South and C.Rochungnunga (54) s/o Mangzela Lawngtlai Council Veng. Thenzawl PS Case No.15/2023 Dt.4.5. 2023 u/s 3/25(1A)/25(1AA)/29 Arms Act r/w 34 IPC has been registered for further investigation.
