Crime Review and Law and Order Meeting of Southern Range was held on May 17, 2018 at SP Lunglei Conference Hall, Lunglei. DGP Pu Balaji Srivastava IPS graced the meeting as Chief Guest. Several senior police officers from Southern Range attended the meeting which was chaired by DIG(SR) Pu Neihchungnunga IPS. General Law and Order situation prevailing in the three districts of Southern Range, pending cases, crime trends, etc. were discussed.
In his address, DGP encouraged officers to make the police force leaner, sharper, healthier and strong enough to tackle any situation. He stressed that all officers must keep themselves abreast of the Law relating to investigation by constantly updating themselves with court orders and judgments and also to be prompt in recognizing the good works of their subordinates.
