On the evening of 31.1.2023, Tuisenphai (Khawzawl District) Police Check gate duty recovered and seized 55 bags (4400 Kgs) of areca nuts from one vehicle (407 truck) driven by Laldingngheta (23) s/o Chawiliana of Buang, Champhai District. The seized areca nuts were suspected to be illegally imported from Myanmar and were handed over to Superintendent, Custom Preventive Force, Champhai District for further legal action.
