All that glitters is not Gold. Beware of fake Gold sellers. Suspicion on 17.07.2022 SI VL Dawngkima and staff of Kolasib PS seized 4 (Four) rectangular metal bars with yellow colour, strongly suspected to be Gold bars, which was kept hidden inside the dashboard of a vehicle from Khuangpuilam, Kolasib area. Two persons namely Johny Zonunsanga(38) s/o Laltanpuia(L) of Shalom Veng, Bawngkawn, Aizawl & Lalpekthanga(35) s/o K. Zosangliana of Zotlang, Champhai were apprehended in connection with this case. On verification, those metal ‘Gold’ bars were found to be fake. FIR registered and further investigation is in progress.
