Acting on a reliable input, early morning of 19.2.2023, #LungleiPS team recovered and seized 3.543 Kgs of heroin, (valued over ₹17.5 crores in international market) from the posession of four persons – Lalhruaitluanga(25) s/o Dailova of Zawlpui, Lalnunmawia(22) s/o Lalhmingsanga of Thenhlum, Ngurchhingpuia (22) s/o Vanlalliana of Champhai Kanan and one 16 year old Juvenile, at Venglai Lunglei near Maxi Cab Stand. The seized contraband were concealed inside the hollow portion of 300 floor mop sticks. FIR u/s 21(c)/29 ND&PS Act registered at #LungleiPS for further investigation on forward/ backward linkages.
