After earning accolades for performance of their duties in Manipur Assembly Elections in February this year, Mizoram State Armed Police Force (SAPF) is now being deployed for duty at Gujarat Assembly Elections- 2022. They were briefed and flagged off on 19.11.2022 from 5th IR Bn. Hqrs, Lungverh by DIG(Hqrs) Pu Lalbiakthanga Khiangte IPS, from 4th IR Bn. Hqrs, Luangpawl(Mamit) by DIG(NR) Pu Neihchungnunga IPS, Mualpui and from 1st IR Bn. Hqrs, Mualvum by DIG(CID) Pu Lalhuliana Fanai IPS.
On 20.11.2022 DIG (Armed) Pu Dinesh Kumar Sharma MPS briefed and flagged off personnel of 6 Coys of 3rd IR(Mizo) Battalion bound for duty at Gujarat Assembly Elections- 2022 at Battalion Headquarters, Mangaldai, Assam.
The 14 Coys of Mizoram SAPF will perform election duties in Gujarat, where assembly elections are being held in two phases on 1st and 5th December and counting will be held on December 8. Wishing them all the best and hope they would keep the flag flying high of #MizoramPolice and State of Mizoram by their dedication and devotion to duties.
