Ramthar Veng Branch YMA, Aizawl donated 61 nos of ‘mizo puans’ (traditional Mizo garments) to the 4 police stations in Aizawl City – Aizawl PS (16 nos), Bawngkawn PS (15 nos), Kulikawn PS (15 nos) and Vaivakawn PS (15 nos) on 3.7.2022, as a token of gratitude to the Police Department for their selfless dedication and service to people, in need. ‘Mizo Puan’ is traditionally used to cover dead body in accident/ unnatural death cases and hence the gifts would be extremely useful for Police Stations, who are the first responders in such cases.
