Information was received at Saitual PS on 25.05.2022 from one lady resident of Nazareth Veng, Keifang that her house was burgled by unknown miscreant the previous night while she was away. The burglar made an entry into her house by breaking the door lock, pried open her steel Almirah using an unidentified tool and stole cash amount of approx. ₹10,000/-. Police team promptly proceeded with investigation, accused Lalhmangaiha (34) s/o Vanlalpeka of Nazareth Veng, Keifang was arrested yesterday within a span of about 24 hours, and a part of stolen money was recovered from the accused, as he had already used up rest of the stolen money for buying drugs and other items.
