Seizure of #Arecanuts again. We caution/ urge all to refrain from indulging in illegal acts, as it is punishable by law. In the night of 26.4.2023, #SaitualPS Patrolling team seized 130 bags (approx. 7800 Kgs) of dry Areca Nuts at Saichal Junction, Saitual from two vehicles driven by Lalpekhlua of Zokhawthar, Champhai District and Lalbiaksanga of Champhai Zotlang. The consignments were being illegally transported from Zokhawthar to Aizawl. The seized arecanuts alongwith the vehicles are being handed over to Superintendent, Custom Preventive Force, Seling for further legal action.
