Selection of Best Police Station for the year 2017 was completed and the results were declared on the January 22, 2018 during the 47th Mizoram Police Raising Day Celebration at Arya Mess, PHQ. The following Police Stations were selected by the Selection Board as the best Police Stations:
1st Position : Bawngkawn PS of Aizawl DEF.
2nd Position: Lawngtlai PS of Lawngtlai DEF.
3rd Position : Lunglei PS of Lunglei DEF.
The selected Police Stations were awarded cash prizes of Rupees 20,000/-, 15,000/- and 10,000/- respectively with citations.
