#Mizoram is known for one of the best traffic discipline, world over. #Traffic enforcement aims to improve the safety and order on public roads and prevent the occurrence of road accidents. #MizoramPolice traffic personnel are also being trained with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their duties effectively. On 8.5.2023, training of #TrafficPolice Personnel on important Motor Vehicle Act/Rules and its enforcement was held, inaugurated by DGP Pu Devesh Chandra Srivastva IPS at DGP Conference Hall, PHQ, Aizawl. The training was organised in hybrid mode, attended physically by 60 Aizawl Traffic Police personnel at the DGP Conference Hall and other traffic police personnel from all Districts through online mode. Resource persons – Pu Vanlalbiaka Joute, DySP Traffic, Pu K. Lalrinsanga MVI (Transport Department) and Pu Tikam Singh Verma IPS (Prob) imparted lectures on various important topics of Traffic Rules and Regulations, Vehicle licensing & registration, safety and Penal sections of MV Act/Rules.
