The #WarOnDrugs continues in full swing. On 11.7.2023, Zokhawthar PS (Champhai District) team seized total 87 grams of heroin at two different locations within Zokhawthar areas. In one instance, the team seized 47 grams of heroin from the joint possession of Lalthangpuii (40) of Republic Venghlun, Aizawl and Dominic Tharmawia (36) of Thuampui Veng, Aizawl. In another case, the police team also recovered and seized 35 grams of heroin from the illegal of possession of Lalmuanawma (23) of Jail Veng, Champhai near ICP Zokhawthar.
