Yet another success in busting illegal transportation of smuggled dry areca nuts in quick succession. On 25.8.2022, it was #ChamphaiPolice on duty at Chalbawiha Junction, Khankawn Police Check Gate. They recovered & seized 68 bags (2630 kgs) of dry arecanuts from two vehicles, (1) Ashok Leyland driven by Lalliandinga, Venglai, Champhai and (2) Tata 610 driven by Lalenkawla, Zion Veng, Champhai. The seized dry arecanuts were handed over to Custom Preventive Force, Champhai. Outstanding work again, Team Champhai.
