On 29.8.2022, Champhai Police on duty at Chalbawiha Junction Khankawn Police Check Gate, intercepted one scorpio vehicle plying from Champhai to Aizawl, in which, they recovered & seized 1.1 kgs ( 10,100 tablets) of methamphetamine worth ₹3.3 crore in international market. The owner of the vehicle & seized drugs Vanlalringi (42) d/o Thangluaia of Zion veng, Champhai was arrested and further investigation is underway. Outstanding work once again #TeamChamphai.
