On 11.07.2021 a suo moto FIR was submitted by SI C.Lalsangliana of Champhai PS stating that on 11.07.2021 @2:00pm, while he was on duty at Champhai PS, a telephonic information was received from Tlangsam VLTF duty that they recovered 60 packs (40 ltrs) of BEDC valued of Rs 48,000/- from the illegal possession of Sangkhuma (45) S/o Vanlalbela, Runhleichhuma (52) S/e Khuangbualhnawka and one juvenile in conflict with law Malsawmkima (15) S/o Sangkhuma all of Tlangsam Village, Hence, CPI PS C/No.54/21 Dt. 11.7.2021 U/s 6(1703) MLP Act r/w 5(5) of The Mizoram (Containment & Prevention of Covid-19)Act, 2020.
On 11.07.2021 a suo moto FIR was submitted by HC Lalchantira of Dungtlang PS stating that while he was on duty at Dungtlang PS, 8th Bn. Assam Rifles Farkawn recovered and produced 30 cases of Foreign Cigarettes ‘V’ at Vaphai AR Check Gate from the vehicle B/R No. Mz-01 H 2770 (Bolero) driven by C.Lalhruaitluanga (24) S/o C.Kawithuama of Venglai Champhai with accompanying Lalrinkima (26) S/o Thanmawia of Vengsang. Champhai which were illegally imported from Myanmar and transported towards Champhai. The owner of the said cigarettes was Lalhriatchhunga (30) So T.Ralliantawna of Vaphai, Fiara Section. Hence, DTLNG PS C/No.6/21 Dt. 11.07.2021 U/s 269/188 IPC.
On 17.07.2021 written FIR was submitted by RC Rodawla, Chairman, VLTF Zote Village stating that on 17.07.2021 at 9:00pm, they recovered 16 cases of Dagon Beer (384 Cans – 192 litres) Value of Rs 80,000/- (Approx) from one vehicle Taxi B/R No. Mz-04 A-4363 driven by Khupzatuanga (26) S/o Nangzaenga of Bethel Champhai near Forest Check Gate, Zote. The said Beer Dagon belongs to Lunngaihnemi (24) D/o C.Lianpianga of Bethel Champhai and Khupzatuanga (26) S/o Nangzaenga of Bethel Champhai were arrested. Hence, CPI PS C/No 55/21 Dt. 17.07.2021 U/s 6(1)7(3) MLP Act 2019.
A written FIR was submitted by Vanchhunga Tlau, Chairman VLTF, Tlangsam Village stating that an 22.07.2021 at around 11:00am, they recovered 21 packs of BEDC (Myanmar alcohol) valued of Rs. 16,800/- (approx) in local market from the illegal possession of one Hmingthansiama (38) S/o Hrangkianlova of Tlangsam village which was illegally transported from Bulfek, Myanmar. Hence, CPI PS C/No 56/21 Dt22.07.2021 U/s 6(1)/7(3) MLP Act 2019 R/w 5(5) of The Mizoram Containment and Prevention of Covid-19) Act,2020.
On 24.07.2021, a written FIR was submitted by Zoruma S/O Lallianchhawna, Chairman VLTF, Zote Village stating that on 24.07.2021 @ 5:30 pm, they recovered 12 packs of BEDC (Myanmar Alcohol) valued of Rs. 9600/- (approx) in local market from the possession of one Hmingthantlanga (53) s/o Lalchawliana of Venglai, Champhai which was illegally transported from Fartlang, Myanmar. Hence, CPI PS C/No.57/21 DL.25.07.2021 U/s 6(1)/7(2) MLP Act 2019 tw 5(5) of The (Mizoram Containment & Prevention of Covid-19) Act 2020.
A written FIR was submitted by Tlangchullova S/o Chawnthuama(L) of VCP Ruantlang village stating that on 28.7.2021 while they conducted VLTF duty at Farlui Junction, Ruantlang village, they recovered 41 packs of BEDC (Myanmar Alcohol) valued of Rs. 16,400/- (Approx) in local market from the illegal possession of one Vanlalthatluanga (29) S/o Khawzauva of Khuangleng village which was illegally transported from Myanmar. Hence, CPI PS C/No.58/21 DL28.07.2021U/s 6(1)/7(3) MLP Act 2019.
A Suo moto FIR was submitted by ASI C Hmingthanthuanga of Champhai PS stating that on 28.7.2021 at 12:00 Noon, while he was on duty at Champhai PS, Ruantlang VLTF duty produced Foreign Cigarettes viz. V Cigarettes -20 cases, Classic -20 cases, Mond Cigarettes -96 cases, total value of Rs. 1,53,60,000/- (approx) in local market belonging to Lalhmingmawii (45) D/o Dengthuama of Venglai Champhai. Hence, CPI PS C/No.59/21 Dt.28.07.2021 U/s 2002) COTPA Act r/w 5(5) of The (Mizoram Containment & Prevention of Covid-19) Act 2020.
