On 31.8.2023, acting on information received, Hnahthial PS team and Anti-Drugs Squad, Electric Veng YMA, Hnahthial conducted joint operation. They recovered and seized 655.48 grams (56 soap boxes) of heroin from the possession of Lalrempuii (29) of Model Veng, Hnahthial. A case under ND&PS Act registered for further investigation on forward/backward linkages.
