As usually organised and observed by Zoram Drivers’ Union( ZDU), a brief inaugural function/Kick-off for the Observance of Road Safety Week wef 3 – 9 December,2018 held at Venglai, Lunglei on 03.12.2018 at 7:30am was graced by Pu C.Lalthanmawia, SP, Lunglei who briefly highlighted major causes of road accidents and the responsibilities of the drivers, road owning department, Transport department, Traffic laws enforcement agencies and users of roads and the general public. The main theme/ slogan on Road safety in Lunglei district this year is: FIMKHUR LA, NUN CHHANHIM RAWH(Be careful and save lives).
