Lunglei Police recovered stolen Mobile phone and cosmetics.

Catching thieves is always a passion for us. Criminal Intelligence and technical help always help in achieving the end results. A person selling mobile phones at Lunglei Market was apprehended on suspicion by Lunglei Police on 29th April.
On sustained interrogation and with the help of CCTV footage circulated earlier by Thenzawl PS, the suspect’s identity was confirmed as Laltanpuia (26) s/o Dangliana of Ratu village involved in a case of Thenzawl PS, about two weeks back.
Seven(7) nos of stolen mobile phones with accessories and cosmetics valued ₹ 1,86,548 were recovered from him.
The accused was arrested by Thenzawl Police and forwarded to CJM, Serchhip for judicial remand.
