Outstanding performance by our Police Shooters. The following police personnel representing Mizoram Shooting team won medals in the 10th North East Zone Shooting Championship held at Shillong, Meghalaya during 21st – 27th August, 2023.
1). Lallianmawia IPS, DIG (NR) – Gold in 50M Free Pistol (Master) and Silver in 50M Prone Rifle (Master).
2). Hav. Lalhmangaihtluanga of 3rd MAP – Gold in 50M Free Pistol (qualified for National Championship), Gold in 25M Standard Pistol Men Individual and Silver in 25M Centre Fire Pistol Men Individual.
3). SI Cindy Vanlalhriatpuii of Aizawl DEF – Gold Medal in 50M Open Sight Rifle women individual.
4). HC(Opr) Vanlalhruaii Ralte of MPRO – Bronze Medal in 50M Peep Sight Women Individual.
5). C/211 Zoliansanga of 3rd MAP – Silver Medal in 50M Prone Rifle Men Individual.
6). C/165 PC Lalrinfela of 1st MAP – Bronze Medal in Centre Fire Pistol Men Individual and Bronze Medal in Air Pistol Mixed Team.
Mizoram Team with 18 gold medals, 10 Silver medals and 12 Bronze Medals emerged overall Runner-up in the championship.
