Date & Place of Occurence : 3.8.1982 at Near Parvachawm village
Brief of Action causing such death : On 3.8.1982, a party of Police personnel went out for operation duty on receipt of movements of armed insurgent group around the outskirt of Daido village, Aizawl Dist., Mizoram. The operation party was ambushed by armed insurgent group near Parvachawm village under sub-division of Manipur State and Hav. Rokhuma was killed in the encounter with the armed insurgents group.
He was awarded Police Medal for Gallantry posthumously in the year 1983.
