In the morning of 25.12.2022, alert and vigilant Saiphai Police Out-Post (Kolasib District) team recovered and rescued 3 exotic wildlife species – 2 Colobus monkeys and 1 Crocodile, being illegally smuggled in a vehicle, driven by Jakir Hussein Barbhuiya (35) s/o Tomiz Ali of Rajnaghar, Bagha, Cachar, Assam. Further legal action is in progress.
