Huge consignment of #Arecanuts intercepted again. Acting on specific input, In the morning of 24.3.2023 #SaitualPolice team recovered and seized 205 bags (approx. 16400 Kgs) of dry areca nuts from four vehicles – (1) 207 pickup driven by Roluahpuia (30 bags), (2) 207 pickup driven by Zohmangaiha (30 bags), (3) Ashok Leyland truck driven by Lalrintluanga (85 bags) and (4) 407 truck driven by Lalawmpuia (60 bags), all of Ngur, Champhai District. The consignments were being illegally transported from Zotlang, Champhai and bound for Vairengte, Kolasib Dictrict. The seized dry arecanuts along with the vehicles were handed over to Superintendent, Custom Preventive Force, Seling, Aizawl District for further legal action. Outstanding job, Team #Saitual.
