On 09.06.2023 @ 2:05PM, one person (appears to be from outside Mizoram) committed suicide by shooting himself, at one location at Falkland Veng, Aizawl. Diligent enquiry and utmost efforts by #MizoramPolice to identify the unknown deceased through available documents revealed that the dead body may be of Jones Cedric Goeffrey, approx. 62 years old with permanent address – Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and temporary address – Sunkadakatte, Bengaluru, Karnataka. However, all efforts/attempts to notify anyone, who knows him or his relatives/family have been unsuccessful, so far. The unclaimed dead body is preserved at Aizawl Civil Hospital Mortuary.
