On 26.12.2018@1:00 a.m, a joint operation team of Kolasib Police and 37th Assam Rifle intercepted a swift car (B/R No.AS-11P-5941) at Tuitha Veng, Kolasib and recovered 881 Nos of Fake Indian Currency Note (Rs 2000 denomination total value of Rs 17,62,000/) from the illegal possession of Thangliana(43 yrs) S/o Malsawma(L), Tamu, Myanmar. In this regard, Kolasib Police Station Case No. 174/2018 Dt 26/12/2018 u/s 489 IPC registered.
