On 04.04.2021 7:30pm to 8:30pm, S.I Joseph Lalhnehzela and party conducted random checking at Chalbawia Junction Khankawn Police Checkgate, one vehicle B/R No. MZ-01-Q-4002 (Eco Van) driven by Germanthangpuia S/o Lalmawizuala of Zokhawthar coming from Champhai was stopped on suspicious ground and checked the vehicle. Upon thorough checking of the vehicle and the occupants by preparing grounds of belief, they recovered 10 soap cases (3 blue colour soap cases, 4 brown colour soap cases, 1 red colour soap cases, 2 green colour soap cases) containing brown powder suspected to be Heroin weighing 135 grams value of Rs. 500,000/-(Approx) in local market from the possession of SB Tuanga (35) S/a Paukhankapa of Zokhawthar, Hence, CPI PS C/No 25/21 Dt. 4.4.21U/s 21(b) ND & PS Act was registered.
On 17.4.2021 ASI Lalduhawma of Dungtiang PS submitted FIR that on 16.4.2021 he along with party Dungtlang PS and BSF ‘G’ Branch, Aizawl conducted joint operation at Samthang village @ 2.00pm, they recovered and seized 4(four) Nos of 7.62 live ammunitions from the possession of Challianthanga (66) s/o Tawkkulha of Samthang village without having any permission for possession of said ammunitions from the competent authority. Hence, DTLNG PS C/No 2/2021 dt. 17.4.2021 U/s 25(1A) Arms Act was registered.
On 16.4.2021 a copy of FIR was submitted by S.I C.Lalthianga of Champhal PS stating that on the night of 16.45.2021 he along with Vety. Department staff conducted joint operation and seized 3 nos. of pig from the possession of Vanlalthlana (50) 5/o F.Roliana (L) of Venglai, Champhal who was shifting his pig without having any permit from the competent authority their by violating District Magistrate Order No. 1.11012/1/2014-DC(CPI) Dt. 22.2.2021 and No.J11012/1/2014/DC(CPI) Dt. 16.4.2021. Hence CPI PS C/No 28/21 Dt 17.4.21U/s 188 IPC was registered.
On 15.4.2021 a copy of FIR was submitted by SI C.Lalthianga of Champhal PS stating that on the night of 16.45.2021 he along with Vety Department staff conducted joint operation and seized 3 nos. of pig from the possession of Lalramthangi (41) Vengthar, Champhai who was shifting his pig without having any permit from the competent authority their by violating District Magistarate Order No. 1.11012/1/2014-DC(CPI) Dt. 22.2.2021 and No.J.11012/1/2014/DC(CPI) Dt. 16.4.2021. Hence, CPI PS C/No 29/21 Dt. 17.4.21 U/s 188 IPC was registered.
On 16.4.2021 a copy of FIR was submitted by SI C.Lalthianga of Champhal PS stating that on the night of 16.45.2021 he along with vety Department staff conducted joint operation and seized 2 nos. of plg from the possession of C.Lalzuiliana of Electric Veng. Champhai who was shifting his pig without having any permit from the competent authority their by violating District Magistarate Order No. 1.11012/1/2014-DC(CPI) Dt.22.2.2021 and No.J.11012/1/2014/DC(CPI) Dt. 16.4.2021 Hence, CPI PS C/No.30/21dt 17.4.21 U/s 188 IPC was registered.
On 18.4.2021 a copy of FIR was submitted by S.I Liansangpuii of Champhal PS stating that on 18.4.21 @ 4:15pm, while she was on duty at Champhai PS, 8th Assam Rifles of Champhai Post produced 3(Three) Trucks viz. 1) HP-780292 2) AS-01JC-9523 and 3) HP-695608 which were used for carrying 1710 bags of urea and detained at Khankawn to Aizawl road on 18.4.21. The said Urea were transported by (1) Rakesh Kumar(44) s/o Rotan Sigh of Bangana, Himachal Pradesh (2) Mainul Hoque (35) s/o Junab All of Badarpur, Karimganj and (3) Naresh Kumar (40) s/o Beli Ram of Jabllana, Himachal Pradesh. Hence, CPI PS C/No.31/21dt. 18.4.21 U/s 7 Essential Commodities Act was registered.
On 26.04.2021, Pu K.Lalhlimpuia, BDO, Khawbung submitted a complaint that he received an information from VC Dungtlang Village that on 24.04.2021, one Lallunchhuma(36) s/o Thansellova, Vanapa Section Dungtlang transported one piglet from Zokhawthar to Dungtlang village violating DC, Champhai order No. J.11012/1/2014-DC(CPIY Dt. 16.04.2021. Hence, DTLNG PS C/NO 3/2021 Dt 26.04.2021 188 IPC was registered.
On 27.04.2021 @11:58 PM, Champhai Police Duty at Zotlang, Champhal recovered 110 bags (80 Kgs per bag) of dry Areca Nut value of Rs. 24,64,000/- from the possession of Lalhmingthani (40) D/o Fiahrula of Electric Veng, Champhal which was imported from Myanmar through Uilui kai, Melbuk, Champhai District and being transported in one truck (1109) B/R No. MZ 04-4023 driven by Lairempuia (40) s/o BS Mawia of Melbuk, Champhal District. The recovered items along with the vehicle were seized and was handed over to Custom Preventive Force, Champhai today i.e 27.04.2021
