Paying special attention to improve disaster preparedness of our troops, two weeks’ Training Course on Disaster Management was started on 10.5.2022 at PTS, Thenzawl. The course is jointly organised by NDRF and PTS Thenzawl, being attended by 300 armed personnel from various units of Mizoram Police with experts of NDRF imparting the training.
In addition, another Four days Training on Disaster Management for 20 SDRF personnel of 4th IR Bn. was also inaugurated today at Battalion Multipurpose Hall, Luangpawl, Mamit.
