Champhai Police and 2nd Assam Rifles, Hnahlan Post, while conducting random checking between Champhai and Darkhai (Myanmar) on 17.5.2022, recovered and seized 3956 bottles (365 ml) of Foreign made Liquor (Myanmar Special Rum), valued ₹ 1,97,700, from a 207 Pickup Truck from the possession of Lalhunliana (42) s/o Lalthlengliana and Lalsawithanga (25) s/o Phairomawia, both of Hnahlan Village.
The two accused were arrested and further investigation is in progress.
