Information was received on 23.5.2022 at Saitual PS that in between the evening of 21st May and morning of 23rd May, Saitual District Horticulture Office, located at Venglai, Saitual was burgled by unknown miscreant(s) by breaking the rear door of the office.
Saitual PS team led by SDPO promptly rushed to the place, and found on preliminary enquiry that the office iron safe locker along with cash of approx. Rs.10,00,000/-inside was stolen away. Police team promptly proceeded with investigation, conducted investigative and thorough search. The Police found the iron safe locker at about 150 mtrs from the office and safely recovered the stolen property with all the stolen cash (100%). FSL team also visited and collected available forensic evidences from the place of occurrence. All out efforts are being made to catch the burglar(s).
