Do you know that #Mizoram is having the highest Severity Rate in Road Accidents in #India? The three E’s, Education, Engineering and Enforcement are very essential for road safety and traffic discipline.
Paying special attention on enforcing traffic rules like wearing helmets while riding, against driving without licences & insurance, drunken driving, talking on phone while driving, etc., Traffic Branch of Lawngtlai Police launched a special drive at Lawngtlai town on 29.5.2022. Total 27 violators (driving without helmet – 16, driving without license/ valid papers – 10 & drunken driving – 1) and imposed fines.
Well done, Lawngtlai Police. Worth emulating by all districts.
Life is precious. Violation of traffic rules can prove to be fatal! Obey traffic rules and save lives.
