On 1.6.2022, Aizawl District Task Group under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (Drug Free India Campaign) conducted drug awareness programme at three schools in Aizawl, Mary Mount School, Govt. Middle School Dinthar and Bawngkawn Middle School-II, with members of the task group as resource persons. 730 students of these three schools took pledge to stay away from drugs and take active part in drive against drugs abuse through signature campaign captioned ‘I Say No To Drugs’.
Pertinently, the District Task Group is headed by SP Aizawl with members from Excise & Narcotics, Food & Drugs, School Education, Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs and Mizoram Chemist & Druggist Association.
