On the night of 28.6.2022, Champhai Police while conducting vehicle checking at Tlangsam area, recovered 70 bags of Areca Nuts (dry), weighing approx. 3500 Kgs, valued ₹ 5.25 lakhs. The recovered Areca nuts along with the vehicle and driver/owner, Jessy Ramthianghlima of Tlangsam were handed over to Custom Preventive Force, Champhai today.
