Well being of our troops deployed in the inhospitable and remote places is always a matter of concern for all of us. As preventive measures against contracting malarial disease during this monsoon season, anti-malarial solution Bed Net Impregnation (BNI) was conducted at BOPs of 1st IR Battalion, located in the inter-state border areas – Saiphai, Zophai, Saihapui V, etc., in association with Health Deptt. officials of Kolasib District.
Mobile clinic for testing malarial disease was also held in these BOPs by the medical team.
