We have our eyes set on all criminals and citizens are also helping us in a big way. One Sumo vehicle parked on the road side near Thuampui Helipad was stolen in the intervening night of 25/26.7.2022. Prompt action was taken by Bawngkawn PS by alerting all Police Stations. The stolen vehicle was detected by few persons of Rengtekawn village at Rengtekawn and they detained them on the basis of suspicion , informing Kolasib PS about the matter. Two miscreants namely Lalrinfela(37) s/o Vanlaltluanga of Maubawk, Aizawl and Jacob Vanlaldika (33) s/o J.Dingliana of Thuampui were arrested. The stolen vehicle was restored to the rightful owner. We commend the support received from alert citizens. Further probe is on about their previous involvements.
