Cooperation and active support of the public is always invaluable and prerequisite in both prevention and detection of crimes. During the month of March – April, one Computer Set & Scanner (total v/o ₹ 32,000/-) was stolen from one residence at Lungrang South (Lunglei District). In another burglary case, on the night of 5th Sept., one Gas Cylinder (v/o Rs.3,800/-) was also stolen from Lungrang High School.
With the support and specific input from NGO Lungrang South, two accused – Ramsangliana(24) s/o R.Biakdingliana (involved in theft of Computer Set & Scanner) and Lalruatkima(24) s/o Zonuna (involved in theft of Gas Cylinder), both of Lungrang South, were arrested on 10.9.2022 by #LungsenPS with recovery of the stolen articles.
