Department of Posts released Special Cover on 50th Anniversary year of #MizoramPolice, on Police Commemoration Day on 21st October. The Special Cover was released by Director General of Police Mizoram Pu Devesh Chandra Srivastva IPS in the benign presence of Pu Joseph Lalrinsailova, IPoS, Postmaster General, North East-I in a solemn function held at Aizawl Head Post Office.
Special Covers are made for marking special events of significant importance. The special cover will be on sale at e-post platform online and post offices across the country, which will put the footprint of Mizoram Police across the globe. It will also give our men and women the sense of pride and glory.
Previously, Special Cover for Mizoram Police on the occasion of Police Commemoration Week had been released in the year 2018 on 23rd October.
