BIG HAUL OF #ArecaNuts INTERCEPTED at Seling, Aizawl District. In the evening of 29.1.2023, Seling Police Out Post staff recovered and seized 83 bags (approx. 6640 Kgs) of dry arecanuts, suspected to be illegally imported from Myanmar from three vehicles, driven by Lalramchhana (50), Rualthankhuma(30) and C.Lalduhsaka(22), all of Champhai Zotlang. According to the drivers of the vehicles, the consignments were bound for Aizawl. The said three vehicles and the dry arecanuts are being detained at Seling Police Out Post for further legal action.
