On 25.4.2023, DIG (Armed) Pu C.Lalnunmawia MPS briefed and flagged off 3 Coys of Mizoram State Armed Police Force (SAPF) bound for duty at Karnataka Assembly Elections- 2023 at 5th IR Battalion Headquarters, Lungverh. After earning accolades for performance of duties in Tripura and Nagaland Assembly Elections earlier this year as well as Manipur & Gujarat Assembly Elections last year, Mizoram State Armed Police Force is now being deployed again for duty at Karnataka Assembly Elections- 2023, where polling is scheduled on May 10 and counting will be held on May 13.
