The State Government had authorised Head Constables (HCs) to investigate minor offences, in view of shortage of Staff and rising numbers of cases. To improve their skills and knowledge, a 2 (two) days Training of HCs as Investigation Officers (IOs) begun on 8.5.2023 at SP Aizawl Conference Hall, inaugurated by Pu Rex Zarzoliana Vanchhawng, SP Aizawl. 25 HCs of Aizawl DEF are attending the training on various important subjects of Investigation Procedure, Investigation of Theft cases, Evidence Collection, Search & Seizure, Evidence Act, etc. Officers (Gazetted Officers & Inspectors) from Aizawl DEF are imparting lectures on these subjects.
