Official Ceremony of handing over of 50 nos of .303” Drill Practice (DP) Rifles by Mizoram Police to Sainik School, Chhingchhip was held on 1.6.2023 at GS Arya Mess, PHQ, Aizawl. DGP Pu Devesh Chandra Srivastva IPS and IGP (Hqrs) Pu John Neihlaia IPS graced the function as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively. The Chief Guest & Guest of Honour officially handed over the DP rifles after due approval of the Government of Mizoram, to Principal, Sainik School, Chhingchhip, Wing Commander Shahul Hameed. The solemn ceremony was also participated by senior police officers and various ranks and files of #MizoramPolice. These DP Rifles will be utilised by the Sainik School Cadets for their regular drill practices/ classes.
