In #WarOnDrugs, it is important to be aware of all the dimensions of #DrugMenace first and roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders. #Training and awareness session on ND & PS Act was organised on 31.5.2023 at Assembly Hall, Govt. Mamit Higher Secondary School by Mizoram State Legal Services Authority. Lectures on ‘Effect of drug abuse on the society and the efforts of NGo to curb drug use’ and ‘Offence and penalty under ND and PS Act and it’s related issues’ were imparted during the programme. Mizoram Police, local CSOs,NGOs, media, Excise & Narcotics Dept and students participated in the session. Good going.
