New Building of Thingsai Police Station was formally inaugurated on 13.10.2022 by Dr.R.Lalthangliana, Hon’ble Minister, Health & Family Welfare Deptt etc, in the presence of DGP Mizoram Pu Devesh Chandra Srivastva IPS, in an official inaugural function held at Thingsai PS Complex, Hnahthial District.
The new building was constructed under the scheme of NEDP 2018-2019, by Police Department, Govt. of Mizoram. Construction works commenced from 13th September, 2018. Construction of the building was completed with sanctioned amount of ₹65,74,500/-. It covers an area of 23 x 9 m=207 Sq.m of a ground Floor and Terrace/Roof, having provision for OC room, Sherista room, malkhana, CCTNS room, women rest room, separate Lock-up for male & female, interrogation/LO room, subordinate rest room, visitor room, toilet block, etc.
#Mizoram Police expresses deepest appreciation and gratitude to the State Government for the support and assistance to Police Department in giving us new PS building, where citizens will feel at ease and comfortable in terms of space, cleanliness, functionality and privacy and the police personnel can also perform their duties smoothly and effectively, in a citizen friendly manner.
