New office building of Commandant, 4th IR Battalion at Mamit Luangpawl was inaugurated on 16.3.2023 by DGP Mizoram Pu Devesh Chandra Srivastva IPS, in an official function held at the Bn. Complex, Luangpawl. The function was also graced by Pu Laldinpuia Tlau, CJM Mamit as Guest of Honour and other senior Government Officers. Construction of the new building commenced on 28.02.2020 and completed on 21.02.2023 with with sanctioned amount of Rs.1,17,45,753. The new Building covers an area of Ground Floor 16.80m X 16.80m = 282.24 sqm and Basement Floor 16.80m X 12.60m = 211.68 sqm.
