Brief of Action causing such death : On 20.3.1991, a Police party went for patrolling in the outskirt of Daido village and when they reached near Vawngkawt (Mizoram-Manipur border), 11 (eleven) numbers of armed insurgent group ambushed and fired on the said Police patrolling party. C/87 Lalhriata was killed in the ambush.
