On 27.10.2018 at 8:45 am, Special Narcotic PS conducted operation with Kumpuan Committee Thuampui and recovered 1,00,000 tablets of methamphetamine from the possesion of IsakVanlaltlanthang(25) s/o Sangneihthang of Zokhawthar and Abbasgoni (27) s/o AtiturRakhman of Fahtepur. Dist, Karimganj at Central School Junction, Thuampui, Aizawl and seizure was done at the spot by observing all formalities. The seized items were concealed inside matress and the seized items is estimated to Rs 2,00,00,000/- in local market. Weight of the seized items is 9.465 kgs.Case is being registered at Special Narcotic PS.
